Efrat Shapira-Orren is a leading partner in the Healthcare Department at Arnon, Tadmor-Levy, and she is also the Chief Legal Counsel of Assuta, Israel’s largest chain of private hospitals, which encompasses eight hospitals and medical centers throughout Israel.

In her role as Chief Legal Counsel of Assuta, Efrat oversees all legal and regulatory aspects of the network’s entire operations, including in relation to regulatory matters and all commercial and business activities, both domestically and internationally.

Efrat provides extensive advice to healthcare providers, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, startups and other companies in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector, on a wide range of legal matters. These include regulatory issues, liaising with regulators and governmental bodies on strategic matters, legislative changes, commercial transactions, international operations, clinical research, research and development collaborations, fundraising and more.

Efrat’s expertise also covers a wide range of public tenders for infrastructure projects, including various BOT/ PFI/ PPP models.
