David (Dudi) Tadmor is the founding partner of Tadmor & Co., and a managing partner of Arnon, Tadmor-Levy. His areas of expertise are competition law, constitutional and administrative law, regulation, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law.
David graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem (1986), and also holds a Master of Law (1988) and Doctor of Law (1992) from New York University (NYU) School of Law. He is a member of the Israel and New York Bar Associations.
David clerked for the Hon. Justice Meir Shamgar, President of the Supreme Court of Israel. He practiced for five years with the New York law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz as an associate, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, before founding his first law firm in 1993.
Between 1996 and 1997, David was a member of the Israel Competition Court. In 1997, he was appointed head of the Israel Competition Authority, a position he held until 2001. Following a period during which he was a senior partner at the law firm of Caspi & Co., David founded in 2005 the law firm of Tadmor & Co. in Tel Aviv, later to become Tadmor, Levy & Co., and subsequently Arnon, Tadmor-Levy (following mergers with the firms of Prof. Yuval Levy & Co. and Yigal Arnon & Co.). With a staff of 600, Arnon, Tadmor-Levy is now one of the largest law firms in Israel.
David served as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (privatization law); Reichman University (competition law) and the Faculty of Law of Tel Aviv University (communications law, competition law, corporate law and the LLM mandatory seminar). He served as the Chairman of the Competition Committee of the Israel Bar Association and was a trustee of the AVI CHAI and Beit Avi Chai Foundations. David also served on various public committees. He has been very active in pro bono cases over the years, focusing on diverse issues with a social emphasis.
David has published many competition law decisions, as well as articles in the daily press and in professional publications. For five years he edited and presented an hour-long weekly magazine in law, on Galei Tzahal (the IDF radio station). David is also an exhibited photographer, whose works can be found in private collections in Israel and abroad.
