Career

Ed Joyce has extensive experience in insurance coverage litigation, some of which has resulted in several landmark decisions, relating to professional liability, D&O liability, property/business interruption claims, employee dishonesty, data breach/equipment damage, unfair competition, construction liability, intellectual property, business torts, products liability, employment liability and environmental liability. He has secured more than $3 billion in verdicts/settlements in his representation of corporate policyholders in various industries, including food/beverage, industrial, textile, retail, real estate/construction, media/entertainment, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, telecommunications, energy, financial services and municipalities. Ed regularly speaks at industry functions and at the Risk and Insurance Management Society's (RIMS) Annual Conference for the past 33 years. Ed is a member and a Past President of the board of directors of the Fordham Law Alumni Association. In addition, Ed is a member of the board of directors of the Columbia College Alumni Association and a member of the board of directors of American Friends of ALYN Hospital. Ed also serves as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ.
