Don Williams advises on virtually all commercial real estate transactions nationwide. Known for his ability to build consensus, he brings a strategic, win-win approach to negotiations, helping clients close deals efficiently.
Don represents developers, landlords, tenants and businesses in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial, industrial, hotel and multifamily properties. He also counsels clients on developing unimproved real estate and advises lenders and borrowers on construction and permanent loan financing. He also has extensive experience in data center developments and as well as with complex utility condemnations.
With experience closing transactions valued from millions to hundreds of millions of dollars, Don is recognized for his balanced approach to negotiations, ensuring transactions meet client objectives while addressing the needs of all deal constituents.
A leader, team player, collaborator and strategic adviser, Don closes transactions in a way that not only makes his client happy but also considers the needs of other deal constituents. As a result, he is known for being inclusive and fair throughout the negotiation process. He is former chair of the firm’s Real Estate department and managing member of BT Building Company LLC.
