Diego Carrión specializes in corporate law, M&A transactions and private equity. He is also an expert in securities markets and financing arrangements. He has participated in some of the most sophisticated and important national and international transactions in recent years.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked at a leading law firm in Lima. He also worked as an international associate at Sidley Austin LLP in New York. At both firms he participated in highly sophisticated local transactions and transactions involving many jurisdictions.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
He lectures on the courses “Commercial Law Institutions” and “Corporate and Finance Law” at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

• Accionistas of MT Industrial: Advised on the sale to Japanese listed company Rinnai Corp. of 100% of the shares issued by MT Industrial.
• Grupo Wiese and Congelación y Almacenaje del Centro: Advised on the transfer of 100% of Frialsa to American strategic investor Emergent Cold.
• La Gloria Propiedades (Grupo Wiese): Advised on drafting and negotiating a complex and highly detailed memorandum of understanding and a further purchase option agreement to acquire six real properties totaling 26.29 hectares, intended for the development of a mixed-use residential real estate project.
• Stracon Holdings: Adivsed on (i) the registration of its shares in the public securities registry and the stock exchange listing registry, and later for its delisting, assessing requirements and investor safeguards, as well as preparing supporting documentation; and (ii) dual listing on the TSX and the BVL.
• Faro Capital: Advised on the structuring, issuance and public offering under the simplified regime established by Peruvian securities regulations.
