Eleonora’s main focus are regulations and competition law. She has more than 10 years of experience in pharma and life sciences.

Eleonora has experience in advising on complex competition law issues such as abuse of dominance, pricing policies, prohibited vertical agreements, etc.

Her experience also includes competition law and regulatory related litigation before courts of all instances in Bulgaria.

As principal associate in Eversheds Sutherland in Bulgaria, Eleonora advises leading world pharmaceutical companies on their operations in Bulgaria. Her works included ongoing advice on conduct of clinical trials in Bulgaria, market access of new INNs, negotiation of prices with the public health fund in Bulgaria, review of discount and distribution agreements for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Eleonora has experience in pharmaceutical advertising, communication with HCOs and HCPs, realization of diagnostic, co-payment, and patient programs.

Eleonora’s secondary regulatory focus is on tobacco regulations and food regulations. In the last 7 years her work comprises approvals of all advertising materials and packaging artworks of top 3 tobacco company and top 3 FMCG company.

As head of the Competition law department, she advices on merger clearances, vertical agreements, parallel trade with pharmaceuticals and other goods, RPM, price fixings, etc. Eleonora’s work includes also unfair commercial and consumer practices.

As a result of her regulatory and competition law focus, Eleonora represents all her clients before courts of all instances in Bulgaria. She also has experience in both national and international commercial arbitration. Eleonora is member of the team representing an investor in its ICSID claim against the Republic of Bulgaria. She represents clients in commercial disputes and private damages claims.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading historical and political books, watching documentary movies, playing tennis and skiing.
