Dennis is nationally recognized in real estate, finance, workouts, debt restructurings, insolvency and commercial law, including expertise in UCC remedies and mezzanine loan foreclosures, and unparalleled expertise in mortgage remedies and foreclosures. He is a noted authority on California’s “one action” and “anti-deficiency” laws and successfully briefed and argued the seminal Wozab, Western Security Bank and Union Bank v. Dreyfuss cases before the California Supreme Court. Dennis is also a recognized authority on secured transactions, the law of guaranties and letters of credit.
Dennis drafted California Civil Code Section 2856 and co-authored California Civil Code Section 2938. He served as an Advisor for The Restatement of Suretyship and Guaranty.
