Mr. Degang Ma is a partner based in our Beijing Office. He has over 20 years of legal experience. His practice areas focus on intellectual property protection, transnational intellectual property trade (technology import), technology transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and intellectual property dispute resolution.

Mr. Ma is one of the few Chinese lawyers who has represented Chinese companies in dealing with 337 investigation cases in the United States. He was qualified to inspect the counterpart's confidential information in his previous 337 investigation case. In the Acesulfame 337 investigation case (TA-1030), he won the lawsuit representing Anhui Jinye Industrial Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Haobo Science and Technology Co., Ltd.; in the aerogel 337 investigation case (TA-1003), he served as the legal advisor of Guangdong Alison Hi-tech Co., Ltd. to respond to the 337 investigation.

Mr. Ma has represented many major and difficult litigation cases and commercial arbitration cases conducted by the Supreme People's Court and the High People's Court. He also provided legal services for multiple clients applying for Chinese well-known trademarks and Beijing famous trademarks.

Prior to joining GLO in 2018, Mr. Ma worked in Beijing Jincheng Law Firm and Beijing Jingtian & Gongcheng Law Firm. He was once the founding partner of Beijing Limin Law Firm.
