Deb is Chair of the firm's Crisis Management practice, and formerly a Chair of the White Collar Defense and Investigations, and Privacy, Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection practices. She leads critical representations in litigation and white collar, both high-profile and highly confidential, involving a wide variety of industries, economic sectors, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, global jurisdictions and all types of civil, criminal and administrative proceedings. Her clients are in the private and public sectors. She has represented companies, boards, and board committees in internal investigations, compliance-related issues, and criminal investigations regarding the accounting and securities, FCPA, BSA/AML, SPACs, health care, trade secrets, sexual assault and cyber/data intrusions, among multiple other areas. She has litigated and settled large class action matters.

U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California 2002-2007. Former California State Court Judge. Former Police Commissioner for LAPD. Selected as Monitor/Election Officer by DOJ, NY Attorney General, and local municipality.
