David is a partner in our Corporate and commercial departments. David is a highly experienced corporate and commercial partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions. His practice includes advising listed companies and subsidiaries of overseas multinationals, often across multiple jurisdictions. As well as advising on management buy-ins and buy-outs, he also acts for privately owned companies in traditional industries, as well as for clients in the energy and exploration sectors.

Career
David's recent experience includes:
- acted for Morvest Limited in its purchase of 49% of Manor Park Homes from DCC who received a dividend of €172 million as franked investment income. This dividend, along with the share sale proceeds, amounted in total to €181 million
- led a team in the acquisition of Aontec Teoranta, a privately held RFID (radio frequency identification device) inlay card manufacturer, on behalf of Stockholm listed Assa Abloy A.B.
- acting for the shareholders of Pinewood Laboratories on the sale of the company to Wockhardt for a consideration exceeding EUR100m
- advising the shareholders of Century Homes Limited on the sale of the company to Kingspan plc for an aggregate consideration exceeding EUR90m
David's recent experience includes:
