David Meiler

Partner in the Energy and Natural Resources area at Demarest, David Meiler holds master’s of Law degrees in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Houston (USA), and from the University of Pittsburgh (USA), as well as a bachelor of Laws degree from Universidade Federal do Paraná. Among his main clients are large and independent oil companies. He regularly advises international oil and gas companies operating in or seeking to enter the Brazilian market, assisting clients in matters that include trade, import, customs and distribution of parts and services for obtaining government approvals, concessions and licenses, in addition to offering consultancy and litigation support in environmental, tax, customs, labor and other legal issues specific to the Oil and Gas industry.
