David Callahan, Global Chair of Latham & Watkins’ Intellectual Property Practice, focuses on complex litigation in the areas of patent, trademark, trade secret, false advertising and unfair competition. Mr. Callahan has more than 20 years of experience litigating intellectual property matters, has tried numerous bench and jury trials and has argued appeals before the Federal and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeal. He has particularly significant experience in medical device patent disputes, and he has represented clients in a diverse range of other technologies including semiconductors, consumer products, automotive products and business methods, among many others.
