David Williams has extensive experience in a wide variety of complex real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale and development of large commercial real estate assets and real estate portfolios; the representation of developers and lenders in connection with closing and restructuring secured loan transactions; the formation of real estate funds; and the structuring and restructuring of partnerships and limited liability companies.
Prior to Sheley, Hall & Williams, Mr. Williams was a partner at King & Spalding for 11 years and a partner at Seyfarth Shaw for 2 years. He began his career at Barack, Ferrazzano, Kirschbaum & Nagelberg in Chicago.
Mr. Williams has served as an adjunct professor at Emory University Law School and as the chairman of the board of directors of the non-profit “Fugees Family, Inc.” based in Clarkston, Georgia.
