Mr. Vineyard's practice focuses on environmental advice and litigation. He has represented clients at more than 200 Superfund sites in all Environmental Protection Agency regions and has been lead trial counsel in many environmental cases and arbitrations. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in federal (CERCLA) cost recovery and contribution actions and in state environmental cases, and he has defended clients against government enforcement actions under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. He represents clients in complex, multi-party construction and commercial cases, and provides counsel on oil and gas, permitting and environmental legal issues.
Mr. Vineyard is admitted to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First, Fifth, and Eighth Circuits; The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas; and the U.S. District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California. He is licensed to practice in California and Texas. His involvement includes: Texas Bar Foundation, Life Fellow; The Woodlands Bar Association, Past Vice President; and Houston Bar Association, Member.
