Bruce Ruzinsky chairs Jackson Walker's bankruptcy section, heads the Houston litigation section, and chairs the firm's Diversity Committee. He focuses his practice on representing financial institutions, corporations, and other business entities in workout/restructure efforts, chapter bankruptcy proceedings, and litigation. Mr. Ruzinsky has 30+ years' experience representing secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, trustees, debtors, landlords, and asset purchasers in energy, real estate, healthcare, and other industries. Among his current clients are creditors of Sabine Oil & Gas, Magnum Hunter Resources, Energy XXI, Knight Energy, Victory Healthcare, Malibu Lighting, and the purchaser of Torqued-Up Energy Services' assets.
Mr. Ruzinsky is admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. His professional involvement includes: Houston Bar Association, Bankruptcy Section, Past President; Houston Bankruptcy Inn of Court, Past President; American Bankruptcy Institute, Member; Board of Directors of the Duke University Alumni Association, Past Member.
