Daniel Pretorius

Daniel Pretorius is a partner in Bowmans’ Johannesburg office Technology, Media and Telecommunications Sector. He specialises in constitutional and administrative law, judicial review, education law, public procurement, media and telecommunications law, access to information, legislative drafting and interpretation of statutes. He helps clients to prepare for changing compliance requirements and advises on their interactions with governmental and regulatory bodies. When disputes arise over how regulators have exercised their powers, he acts for clients in judicial reviews and other regulatory challenges. He has BA, BA (Hons), LLB, LLM and PhD degrees and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
