Partner in the firm’s Business Law group in Toronto and co-lead of the Aboriginal Law Group. Dan’s practice is focused on project development, environmental assessment and permitting, negotiating agreements between project proponents and Indigenous communities in the mining and energy industries, Aboriginal law, and environmental law. Dan has extensive experience advising domestic and international companies on permitting and environmental law, sustainability strategies, and agreements with project stakeholders.

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Dan held several senior positions within the Environmental department of an international mining company.
