Chambers Review
Europe
One of the leading figures in the energy sector, Damien Verhoeven is playing an active role in Belgium's transition from fossil fuels and nuclear energy to renewable power sources. He advises clients on the development of renewable energy plants and on energy storage projects. He also assists clients with regulatory matters, such as consumer protection regulations and capacity remuneration issues, as well as representing them in contentious matters. A client enthuses that Damien Verhoeven is "an excellent lead lawyer, with a very hands-on mentality," and appreciates the fact that he "listens and takes feedback from us into account."
