Colette Wilkins KC has been a commercial litigator for over 30 years, specialising in contentious insolvency, high value asset recovery, investment fund disputes and issues relating to corporate governance and fraud. She advises office-holders in complex cross-border liquidations, and regularly represents creditors and liquidators in insolvency and related proceedings to determine and protect interests in insolvent estates. Colette has appeared in many leading cases in the Cayman Islands and with her team at Walkers represents the liquidators of SICL and related entities and successfully defended the $9.2 billion claims brought against them in a year-long trial, a decision upheld on appeal.
Colette was appointed to the rank of Queen's Counsel in August 2021.
She was admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2005 and admitted to practise as a barrister of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in 2011.

Colette is a member of the Chancery Bar Association, INSOL, IWIRC and RISA Cayman Islands. She is also the Cayman representative for ICC Fraudnet and a member of the Cayman Islands Grand Court Rules Committee and the Insolvency Rules Committee.
