Charles Douglas is a partner in Bowmans’ Johannesburg M&A Practice. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions (public and private) and equity capital markets (primary and secondary offerings as well as more general listings work). Charles has advised on matters in various other African jurisdictions besides South Africa and also spent 18 months working in Sydney, Australia.
His experience is enhanced by his specialisation in sustainability ad ESG considerations, including impact investing, governance considerations, renewable energy and nature-based carbon solutions. Charles has a BA from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, an LLB from the University of Cape Town and an LLM from the University of the Witwatersrand.
