César Zumárraga

César ZUMARRAGA is Partner in the Natural Resources, Energy and Infrastructure Practice at Tobar ZVS. He joined the firm in 2001. He has 21 years of experience in the Energy area.

César ZUMARRAGA is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law. He is recognized by his clients for his in-depth knowledge of mining transactions, policies and regulations. He is the author of the Ecuadorian mining chapter “Getting the Deal Through”.

He has extensive experience in domestic and international transactions focusing mainly in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure industries. He has represented Canadian, North American and European companies in the development of investment projects especially through state concessions in Ecuador.
