Member of the team advising Mota Engil in an arbitration arising from a USD 34 million naval infrastructure contract. The proceedings resulted in a favourable award granting USD 4.7 million to the client, whose validity was subsequently upheld by the Peruvian courts.
Sacyr Construcción Perú – ICC Arbitration
Member of the team advising Sacyr in an ICC arbitration arising from a USD 135 million contract related to the transportation and delivery of natural gas. The dispute concerned contractual performance and the attempted enforcement of a USD 5.3 million bank guarantee, and concluded through an out-of-court settlement.
