About

Provided by Campos / Arbitraje e Infraestructura

Our disputes practice is built around complex, high-value matters where legal strategy, technical understanding and commercial judgment must work together. We are particularly recognized for arbitration arising from major infrastructure and construction projects, representing contractors, consortiums and other market participants in domestic and international proceedings involving some of the most significant projects in Peru.

Our experience spans institutional arbitrations under the rules of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, ICC, PUCP and AMCHAM, as well as ad hoc proceedings. Construction and infrastructure disputes remain at the core of our practice, including matters arising from PPPs, EPC and EPCM contracts, concession agreements and public and private works contracts.

Our lawyers work closely with clients, engineers, delay experts, quantum experts and other specialists to transform technical complexity into clear and persuasive cases. We also advise on dispute boards, conciliation, settlement negotiations and other forms of strategic dispute management.

Recent matters include an ongoing oil-refinery EPC arbitration exceeding USD 180 million, an airport EPC arbitration exceeding USD 100 million, and five hydropower arbitrations totalling approximately USD 150 million that concluded in our client’s favour.
