Our firm handles important arbitral proceedings and ADRs related to infrastructure projects and construction. We are highly experienced in conducting domestic and international arbitral proceedings under the rules of renowned local and international arbitral institutions (Lima Chamber of Commerce, ICC, etc.), as well as ad hoc proceedings. We are actively involved in bilingual English-Spanish cases and we are also able to fluently work in French.
Our experience covers a variety of dispute arising from public and private construction contracts and PPPs. Most of our cases involve complex construction claims related infrastructure projects (roads, power plants, power lines, ports, sanitation, building, etc.). Claims usually handled by the firm include extensions of time, cost overruns, variation orders, stand by costs, force majeure, disruption, constructive acceleration, contract termination, breach of contract and damages. We also advise our clients in negotiations and we have experience in dispute boards, conciliations and settlements.
Due to our favourable outcomes in construction cases, we have been increasing our practice on contractual and commercial matters, with great success. We aim to continue growing, especially regarding international commercial arbitration.
