Carlos Aravena joined Larrain y Asociados in 1997 and has been a partner since 2004. His practice is focused in litigation and arbitration, construction contracts, public works concessions and infrastructure and sports law.
Mr. Aravena is advisor to construction and concession companies in bidding process of toll road projects, negotiations and amendments, and in litigation related to the construction, operation and maintenance of public works infrastructure.
He studied at the Universidad de Chile (LL.B.), and was admitted in 1996. He specialized in Commercial Law at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain (1995), and obtained a Degree in Corporate Law, granted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1996).
He is member of the Bar Association and the Legal Commission of ANFP.
Between 1991 and 1996 he was assistant professor of Commercial Law at Universidad Andrés Bello and Universidad Central.
