Career

Patricio Montes was foreign Associate at Shearman & Sterling, New York during 2002 and 2003.

He is assistant professor of Civil Law at the Universidad de Chile (2004 to this day) and since 2015 is professor in the module of finance in the Master of Corporate Law at Universidad de Los Andes.

Personal

He studied at Universidad de Chile (LL.B.), being admitted in 1998, and obtained a Master Degree in Law (LL.M.) at Georgetown University, USA, in 2001. Furthermore, he achieved a Certificate in Analysis and Tax Planning (2007) and Master in Taxation Law (2010) both at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2016 he pursued a Tax Reform Diploma at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez.
