Bosco Montejo is a Counsel in the tax practice group in Spain. He has experience in cross-border M&A and real estate transactions, structured finance and group restructurings. Bosco advises corporates and private equity investment groups on their investments (in Spain and globally). He also advises investment banks and financial institutions on structured finance transactions and regulatory capital and balance sheet management. Bosco has advised various international banking groups on restructuring their European modes of operation in preparation for a potential withdrawal of the UK from the EU. He also advised Azora and Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios on the €2.3bn takeover bid launched by Blackstone; Colonial on the first “dual issuance” carried out in the Spanish market; Azora Altus on its initial public offering on the Spanish stock exchanges; Hellman & Friedman and GIC on their agreement to acquire Allfunds Bank; and Barclays Bank on the disposal of its non-core retail banking and insurance businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
