Bill MacGregor is a partner and leads the firm’s national Immigration Practice Group. His practice focuses exclusively on corporate immigration and the cross-border movement of foreign nationals and personnel.

A Certified Specialist in Immigration Law (Law Society of Ontario), Bill has over 25 years of experience providing innovative and practical solutions on immigration matters to Canadian and international clients across a wide variety of industries and sectors.

He assists employers with such things as international transfers and hires, obtaining work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments and documentation for accompanying family members of foreign national transferees or recruits.

He also provides strategic advice on matters including developing immigration policies and work permit best practices for companies, compliance requirements, cross-border movement of personnel, immigration considerations for companies expanding into Canada and the implications of mergers or corporate ownership changes on foreign worker personnel and obtaining permanent resident status and citizenship.
