Bethany Biesenthal

Bethany Biesenthal is an experienced trial lawyer who represents companies and individuals in high-stakes civil litigation, investigations, and compliance-related matters. She serves as investigative and defense counsel in numerous high-profile criminal and civil matters across the United States. Prior to joining Jones Day, she served for more than ten years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois, where she successfully tried over 20 federal cases to verdict. Bethany led hundreds of investigations in areas concerning national security, health care fraud, bankruptcy fraud, securities fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, public corruption, and cybercrimes. Bethany is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
