He has extensive experience working in a variety of jurisdictions and was seconded to the CPS in 2014 for 18 months working in the Caribbean. He recently appeared in R v Luxton [2024] EWCA Crim 340 in the Court of Appeal having been instructed throughout the proceedings.
He was instructed on the first successful Account Freezing and Forfeiture Order in 2018 and is now a leading authority on the area instructed in multiple million-pound cases. He was counsel for the SFO in their first contested Account Forfeiture Order. He is regularly instructed in matters that deal with Cryptocurrency and has extensive experience dealing with them in POCA related cases.
He also undertakes extensive work for third parties under section 10A of POCA, in Enforcement Receiver applications and in Civil Recovery cases.
