Dr Ayman is a Partner in the Firm and he heads one of the Firm’s litigation and arbitration teams. He is regarded highly in the field of dispute resolution in Oman and routinely handles complex commercial litigation matters, offering clients the wealth of his expertise and service across industries and jurisdictions. A hallmark of Dr. Ayman’s approach is his keen understanding of a client’s legal requirements and his ability to strategise litigation that is adapted to the significance of the case.
Dr Ayman specialises and advises on an array of complex commercial and criminal disputes in connection with business torts, contractual matters, financial institution disputes, fraud, insolvency, restructuring, environment, and energy matters and he represents an enviable client portfolio of leading corporate companies as well as private individuals. His expertise also encompasses advising clients on construction and engineering disputes, professional negligence claims, directors’/officers’ liability.
Since joining the Firm, Dr. Ayman has been involved in a number of high-profile matters, including several construction and engineering arbitrations, defending a share-price fixing prosecution, a number of bribery prosecutions, advising a leading bank on a complex multi-million dollar cross-border fraud and nullification of arbitral awards. Dr. Ayman has earned a distinguished citation for his renowned practice in defending corporates in various claims relating to contractual disputes in the oil and gas, and power sectors.
