Marcus is a partner who heads AMJ’s banking and finance team. Dual-qualified as a solicitor in England and Scotland, Marcus has extensive experience in projects, real estate, acquisition, trade and ECA-backed finance, and financial restructurings. His clients include leading international banks, financial institutions and agencies as well as sponsors and project companies in sectors such as power, petrochemicals, oil and gas, transport and infrastructure. He has been involved in numerous high-value, domestic and cross-border finance transactions, for both conventional and Islamic financings. Marcus is a highly-regarded practitioner and is consistently singled out by global legal directories for his technical expertise.

Prior to joining AMJ in 2006 Marcus practiced for 9 years as a banking lawyer in Scotland.
