Arturo A Pera

Arturo Pera joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2016 as Of Counsel in the Oil & Gas Group.

Arturo has over forty years’ experience in the oil & gas industry and was the Legal Director at Total for eighteen years.

With a law degree from the Universidad Católica de Argentina he also graduated from the Escuela de Defensa Nacional. A PhD candidate in Financial Law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Arturo has completed several postgraduate courses in the US and the UK.

In the academic field, he is a professor at the postgraduate course on Oil & Gas at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and teaches Energy Market Regulations at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. At the same time, he is Director of the postgraduate course on Energy Law at the Universidad Católica Argentina.

Arturo is a member of the Consejo Editorial de la Revista Argentina de Derecho de la Energía, Hidrocarburos y Minería (RADEHM) and the International Bar Association and vice-president of the Asociación Argentina de Derecho de la Energía y Recursos Minerales (ADERM).
