As co-lead of the Insurance Team, Andy helps insurers manage complex disputes in and out of court. And his electrical engineering and computer science background, combined with his admission to the patent bar and considerable experience in antitrust and intellectual property licensing, allows him to help technology companies navigate their most difficult legal issues.
He focuses his practice on international arbitration and federal litigation, primarily in the areas of insurance and antitrust. He has served in the leadership of the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association for over a decade, including as co-chair of the Trial Practice Committee.
His thorough knowledge of actuarial analysis allows him to assist insurers with their most difficult issues in and out of litigation, and his electrical engineering background and patent bar license allows him to represent clients entangled in litigation involving cutting-edge technology, primarily in the telecommunications industry. Andy also has extensive experience handling high-value appeals in state and federal courts.
