David R Godofsky

Practice Areas

David has a multidisciplinary practice integrating his experience as an actuary and consultant into his legal practice. His engagements include litigation, corporate transactions, and regulatory compliance involving employee benefits and actuarial science. He has defended five of the recently filed actuarial equivalence class actions (one of which was dismissed with prejudice, one settled, one is stayed following defeat of class certification, and two are ongoing). He has defended several actuarial malpractice cases, and also has an active practice defending actuaries under investigation by the Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline.
