Kevin leads Alston & Bird’s Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources Washington, D.C. team and provides strategic counsel on complex matters related to clean air, climate, clean water, enforcement, federal grants, green financing, pesticides, potentially toxic substances, regulatory development, renewable energy, and hazardous materials.
Kevin spent 18 years with the EPA, ultimately holding the highest-ranking career attorney position at the agency. Kevin has substantial experience with the intricacies of environmental laws and regulations and has had extensive involvement managing litigation at all levels of the court system, including several matters before the Supreme Court.
Kevin has applied his considerable knowledge, relationships, and experience to high-stakes matters before the EPA, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Department of the Interior, the White House, and other federal and state agencies.
