Andrew H. Sherman is Chair of the Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group at Sills Cummis & Gross. He is a leading practitioner in hospital and other health care provider bankruptcies throughout the United States, especially representing the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors.
Andrew Sherman serves as counsel to debtors, official and unofficial committees, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, and other parties in interest in out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 reorganization cases. His practice involves advising clients in complex business reorganizations, debt restructurings, and insolvency matters. He also represents companies experiencing financial difficulties and acts on behalf of lenders and other parties in financings and acquisitions involving troubled businesses. Additionally, he represents investment management firms in debt restructuring matters, commercial workouts, and Chapter 11 cases.
