Practice Areas
Ali Sharifahmadian’s practice includes all aspects of patent-related disputes, including litigation in the U.S. district courts, post-grant proceedings in the Patent and Trademark Office, and appeals before the Federal Circuit. His cases have included a wide range of technologies such as semiconductor circuits and manufacturing processes, computer architecture, computer graphics, consumer electronics, lasers, fiber optics, communications protocols, telecommunications technology, software design, video and audio compression and processing, and medical testing equipment. Mr. Sharifahmadian also regularly counsels clients on IP strategy, including evaluating IP portfolios, creation and adoption of IP policies and practices, and providing opinions on issues such as infringement, validity and/or enforceability. He also assists clients with technology-based transactions, including negotiating licenses.
