Alexander Echlin

Alexander’s practice focuses on professional liability work (including clinical negligence). He particularly specialises in claims involving solicitors, barristers, accountants, surveyors, and financial services professionals. He has taken multiple professional negligence claims to trial. He acts for Claimants and Defendants.

Alexander regularly appears in the High Court, and represented the successful Defendant / Respondent in the Court of Appeal in Anderson v Sense Network Ltd [2019] EWCA Civ 1395 (when he was led by Simon Howarth KC).

Alexander has published several articles on eighteenth-century art and architecture in history and art history scholarly journals.

In his spare time, Alexander enjoys history of art and architecture, travel, music and opera, food and wine, the company of Labradors and Dachshunds, and watching cricket, football (Arsenal FC), rugby, and racing.
