Adam Hollingsworth

Adam Hollingsworth is a former federal prosecutor and trial lawyer who represents companies and individuals in government investigations and criminal prosecutions. He defends clients under investigation by federal law enforcement agencies, assists clients who are the victims of cybersecurity incidents, and litigates high-stakes False Claims Act matters. As an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA), he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases, with numerous first-chair jury trials and appeals to the Sixth Circuit. Adam prosecuted cases involving bribery, public corruption, investment and securities fraud, health care fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, identity theft, criminal tax violations, immigration fraud, firearms, and narcotics cases. Adam also was a civil rights lawyer for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, enforcing state and federal fair housing, disability rights, and hate crimes laws to vindicate the rights of victims of discrimination on the basis of race, religion, national origin, and sexual orientation. Adam has an active pro bono practice, in which he has provided legal advice to detained migrants, wrongfully convicted defendants, and nonprofit organizations.
