Construction & Real Estate:
Broad experience in construction and real estate. Additionally, Dentons has counselled local and foreign clients in the negotiation and drafting of EPC, EPCM, and turnkey contracts. These contracts were designed for construction of housing complexes, malls and offices, as well as infrastructure.

Mergers & Acquisitions:
The M&A area advises on the acquisition and transfer of companies. It has also assisted clients in the structural design of mercantile mergers and splits, giving counsel on all legal matters. Dentons supports clients throughout the transaction process, from the term sheet preparation to completion. Dentons has advised Rio Alto Mining Ltd. in its merger with Tahoe Resource Ltd. for an amount of US$3,200 million. It has also advised Southern Legacy Inc. in its amalgamations process with Regulus Resources Inc. for the amount of US$300 million. Additionally, the firm has advised Megalurin, a subsidiary of Group Megacentro, in the acquisition of shares owned by the Lindley Group, and in the implementation of a Project of US$ 100 million in warehousing and logistic services in Peru.

Labour, Employment & Immigration:
The firm focuses on individual and collective matters, providing clients with preventive advice and representation in highly complex litigation cases. Clients hail from a wide array of industries. Swissport, Nyrstar, Virgin, Quintiles, Kimberly-Clark and Trevi Group are some of its clients. The immigration area is used to handling expats policies and processing visas for foreign executives and their families, among other immigration services.

Litigation & Arbitration:
The dispute resolution team is specialised in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. The firm’s track record includes representing foreign and national companies in cases involving corporate disputes on mining, energy, real estate, consumer law among other fields. It is currently advising Minera IRL in an international arbitration case against COFIDE breaching two mandate contracts to structure the US$240m financing package for the development of the company's Ollachea gold project.

The tax team advises clients on international investments and business transactions. Its members have extensive expertise in both international and local tax law, which enables the firm to counsel clients on a wide variety of tax and transactional issues, including cross-border corporate reorganisations, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, real estate transactions and joint ventures. Dentons also advises multinational groups on transfer pricing matters, designing tax effective structures in application of the tax treaties in force, providing tax compliance services, and conducting due diligence processes. The firm regularly provides counsel in audit processes and tax controversies, representing clients on administrative appeals and appeals before the tax courts. It has advised PetroTal Ltd., in the share purchase agreement, along Sterling Resources Ltd., of Gran Tierra Energy International Peru Holdings B.V., which has hydrocarbon assets in the Peruvian jungle. Virgin, Amazon and Chotiwat are some of its clients.
