Ignacio Lopez de Romaña is a partner in the banking and finance practice of the Dentons Lima office. His professional career has focused on serving local and international financial institutions as well as companies from a variety of sectors in the structuring, negotiation and execution of financing transactions (including bilateral and syndicated loans, lines of credit with or without guarantees and leases) and in capital markets placements.

His previous experience in other firms as well as his experience as Manager of the Legal Department of Citibank in Peru has allowed Ignacio to be have a deep understanding of the needs of financial institutions, providing him with a unique and valuable perspective that he brings to the table when advising clients in his private practice.

Ignacio advises businesses and individuals on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and complex commercial transactions, applying sound project management practices and business knowledge honed from handling virtually every matter businesses confront. Likewise, he also has extensive experience with regulatory issues in financial and insurance matters.
