Work Undertaken Chambers undertakes all areas of clinical negligence work, often in high value, complex cases. TGC is recognised as pre-eminent in costs work providing robust, commercial advice encompassing everything from routine detailed assessment to appellate work in the highest courts. A team of members are at the forefront of health and safety work, advising and representing corporate and individual defendants to criminal investigations and prosecutions. Members are routinely instructed in high profile cases in the Court of Appeal and the Crown Court for the some of the largest corporations operating in the United Kingdom and worldwide. For example, members of chambers appeared in the Court of Appeal in R v Tata Steel UK Limited and R v Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited which both considered the approach to sentencing very large corporations. TGC is a leading set in the field of inquests having been instructed in virtually every high-profile inquest of recent years including the London Bridge Inquests, Westminster Bridge Inquests, Tunisia inquests, Shoreham Air Disaster inquests, Inquests into the deaths of Stephen Port victims, Deepcut inquests, Hillsborough inquests, Vauxhall Helicopter crash and Litvinenko inquest.

TGC is highly regarded in inquiries with extensive experience, such as The Grenfell Tower Inquiry, The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, The Undercover Police Inquiry, The Infected Blood Inquiry, Independent Jersey Care Inquiry, Litvinenko Inquiry and many more. Counsel at TGC specialise in motor and property insurance, credit hire and professional and product liability. TGC has forged a reputation as a leading set for Civil fraud, advising and representing insurance companies in work encompassing a wide range of frauds including fraud rings, staged and contrived collisions, bogus passenger etc, as well as defending holiday sickness claims. Counsel has most recently appeared in the Appeal of LOCOG v Sinfield regarding fundamental dishonesty.

TGC is consistently recommended as a leading set for personal injury. Practitioners regularly handle claims for fatal accidents, catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, and serious, psychiatric injury. In addition to representing accident victims, TGC is on many prestigious insurance panels and also instructed by various government bodies.
