James’ counter fraud work has included him being appointed Lead Counsel by a market leading UK insurer in a three year insurance operation involving over 80 claims across England and Wales which resulted in savings in excess of £3.5M.

He has appeared in reported cases in both the High Court and Court of Appeal and regularly acts in cases involving: staged collisions; vehicle occupancy; fraudulent credit hire claims; and fictional or exaggerated injuries, and, he has obtained numerous declarations of fundamental dishonesty.

James’ counter fraud work is complimented by his personal injury practice. He has been appointed as personal injury panel counsel for one of the UK’s largest employers and has extensive experience in Multi-Track cases in which claimants rely upon fictional and/or exaggerated injuries including: orthopaedic injuries; psychological disorders; fibromyalgia; and chronic fatigue syndrome.
