Zoya Todorova leads the corporate law, M&A and competition law practice groups with focus on labour law and employment-related matters. She has brought to a successful end a number of landmark competition cases on which some decisions of key importance to the market environment in the country were pronounced by the Bulgarian competition authority. Global leaders in manufacturing, technologies, pharma industry, retail, media and internet providers are among Zoya’s client roster. In the area of employment, Zoya is deeply acquainted with issues related to onboarding of new employees, elaboration and implementation of social benefits programmes; particularly experienced in employees’ transfers and collective redundancy, drafting of collective and individual employment agreements, negotiations with trade unions. Zoya has vast experience in advising start-ups in developing labour strategies and incentive tools for managers and employees.
