Andrey Alexandrov leads the Employment practice at Kambourov & Partners, with two decades of experience advising employers on all aspects of Bulgarian labour and social security law. His work combines legal precision with practical business insight to provide comprehensive support across various employment-related matters.

His expertise covers:

Labour law advisory, including interpretation of legislation, compliance reviews, and drafting of HR documentation

Disciplinary proceedings, offering legal guidance, participation in employee meetings, and overseeing internal processes

Employment litigation and court representation, including dismissal-related disputes, severance claims, and discrimination cases

Labour audits and due diligence during reorganisations and M&A transactions

GDPR compliance and anti-discrimination, where employment law intersects with regulatory obligations

Before joining Kambourov & Partners in 2008, Andrey served as a legal adviser at the State Commission on Information Security. He has lectured at institutions including the Ministry of Interior Academy, the Institute for Public Administration, and Sofia University (2011–2015). He is currently an Associate Professor of Labour Law at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
