Vicente is a specialist in Intellectual Property, Media Law and Information Technology Law. He has extensive consultancy expertise gained both in Spain and internationally and broad experience in the negotiation of audiovisual contracts, phonographic publishing transfers, acquisitions of technological content, and distribution agreements, as well as the design intangible asset protection strategies, assisting in negotiations with rights management entities, e-commerce, data protection, consumer rights, publicity rights, online competition, conflicts between trademarks and domain names, and publicity rights management and litigation.
He is widely known in the entertainment industry (working for clients such as Warner Music, EMI Music Publishing, Sony ATV and Warner Home Video) and academically as the author of numerous books and papers on legal subjects. In this field, he was co-winner of the 2006 Fundación Arte & Derecho award for the best book on copyright law. In addition to his academic credentials, he is widely recognized as a pragmatic and effective lawyer with a deep understanding of economic issues and as a driving force in the markets where he works.
