Career

Veena advises foreign and Indian owned banks and NBFCs, ARCs, FPIs, private equity players and distressed market players in the financing and restructuring space. Her specialisation is Structured Finance, Restructuring (within and outside IBC), Bank/NBFC and Financial Sector regulatory and Derivatives.

In the recent years, Veena has been a part of marquee and unique deals in her sector and these include Capital First – IDFC merger, DBS Bank – Lakshmi Vilas Bank merger, restructuring of Leela Hotels by Brookfield outside IBC, resolution of Altico Capital by Ares SSG, structured NCD issuances included partly paid and structured payout structures for AIFs and FPIs, cross border structured financing including acquisition financing and receivable financing, etc.
