Una is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Litigation Group, and a leading lawyer in environmental law and commercial litigation. With over 15 years of experience representing diverse clients, from small businesses to large, multi-national corporations, Una delivers strategic advice that enables them to resolve challenges and attain their business goals. In her commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice, Una acts for both plaintiffs and defendants on high-profile and multi-faceted matters, involving contractual and shareholder disputes, claims against directors and officers, and real estate related disputes. In her environmental law practice, Una advises clients on aspects of major project development, including federal impact assessments, permitting and approvals pursuant to applicable provincial legislation, appeals and judicial reviews of regulatory decisions, environmental incident reporting, risk management, and regulatory investigations and compliance. She is a leading expert on contaminated site redevelopment, risk management, regulation and litigation.
