Tim Whitfield

Partner advising on contentious IP matters, with a focus on patent litigation across a wide range of technical areas, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology products and production processes, medical devices, consumer products, mechanical and engineering technologies, industrial processes, electronics and telecommunications. Represents clients in cases before the English courts, the Unified Patent Court and the European Patent Office, and also has experience of pharmaceutical regulatory issues, standards-essential patents, and associated licensing issues. Particular focus upon advising clients on the development and co-ordination of international patent litigation strategy, and managing complex multi-jurisdictional disputes.
