Thais de Barros Meira

Thais is one of BMA’s tax partners. With more than 20 years of experience in the area, she advises on the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, private equity transactions, financing structures, infrastructure, innovation and real estate projects.

Thais acquired international experience working in one of the biggest law firms in Spain, and lectured in tax law at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV and at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law – IBDT.

Her clients include multinationals and companies listed on the Brazilian stock exchange, doing business in sectors such as insurance, energy, technology, infrastructure, agrobusiness and real estate.
